Association affiliates who choose delivery to their home address will incur the same postage charges as individuals below.

Individual and Life Members – Complete the green order form and return with payment. Please remember to include postage. If your order contains seeds or sundries and fruit or potatoes your total postage will be £5.50.

Each year Kings Seeds produce a special NAS Members catalogue for both individuals and association members that is despatched in early August. The prices in this catalogue are already discounted by 40% on mail order prices and Associations receive further discounts for bulk orders; this is a valuable benefit for our members.

Kings have been following that process for over a hundred years. On our farm of some 300 acres, we have been selecting and maintaining seed stocks longer than most. We are now unique in that Kings is the last surviving wholesale horticultural seed merchant in the country.

We are also experiencing staff members having to isolate more now which again leaves us short for intermittent periods.

Along with the situation with COVID and keeping our staff safe which is our highest priority. The restrictions with social distancing have meant we are unable to bring in any more staff to deal with the extra workload, which is what we would normally do.

At the beginning of January we were so inundated with telephone and website orders we regrettably had to make a decision to suspend both the website and telephone line.

Poor delivery.

We did not want to carry on taking orders that we were unable to expedite within a reasonable amount of time.

We can only offer all our customers our sincere apologies and assure you that this situation is certainly not how we like to run our business which has been in operation for over 130 years.

I appreciate that the pandemic has caused problems but the fair way to proceed would be to process orders in the order that they were placed and not push allotment orders to the back of the queue. We were quoted a delay of 8-12 weeks which is totally unacceptable especially on the light of Kings prompt action in taking our money.

I have used Kings fairly regularly for some years, and I find them a good, genuine company in every way you would expect. Although recent events have caused delays and shut-downs, all my orders during this time have been fulfilled in a reasonable time and on one occasion when a picker made an error, a courteous email to them elicited an immediate and courteous response, with the correct replacements sent out a.s.a.p. You can't ask for more. Overall, very pleasant and professional to deal with.
