Haze varieties are extraordinary sativa strains. Albeit, with a contentious and hazy history. Sam the Skunk Man boasts his version of Haze’s true origins, while the original “King of Cannabis” Nevil Schoenmakers provides a more plausible explanation for the lineage and subsequent refinement of Haze. But even his claims are not without their discrepancies.
Few cannabis seed banks possess authentic Haze genetics. Far fewer contain the expertise to successfully hybridise Haze if they did. Royal Queen Seeds brings the heat. Packing Fire Haze genetics and decades of master breeding expertise, our seeds are feminised and quite possibly the finest head stash strains in the game today.
SPREAD OF HAZE
Royal Queens Seeds was founded by sativa lovers, so it’s no surprise that some of the most extraordinary Haze varieties are to be found exclusively in the RQS Haze Collection. Genuine Haze is often imitated but never equalled. However, top-shelf Haze induces trippy, euphoric vibrations like no other weed around.
During the 1980’s, these genetics found their way to the Netherlands. Through a combination of selective breeding and adaptation to indoor cultivation, the modern Haze varieties were developed. Many seed banks and European breeders would spend the best part of the next three decades continuing and honing in on this work.
Concerning the very beginnings of Haze history, there isn’t much to be certain of. Both of the above parties unreservedly accredit the “Haze Brothers” from America’s West Coast as the creators of the strain. The brothers were known for cultivating a wide selection of sativa genetics, apparently growing everything from Thai to Colombian and even Mexican and South Indian strains as well. Occurring throughout most of the 1960’s and 70’s, crossing so many diverse landraces eventually resulted in what we know today as the original Haze hybrid.
They can be cultivated effectively in both, outdoor and indoor environment. They grow best when the EC hydro systems are high and there’s organic setup. When they are cultivated in soil rather than hydrophils, the plants spectrum of terpens develops better, delivering a nice citrus flavour. When given sufficient amount of space, Haze Feminized cannabis plants can grow really high.
They also have medicinal properties like reducing pain and stimulating appetite. The flowering period is less than 10 weeks, and in one cycle, it can produce about 800 grams a metre square.
The lovely haze flavour is something that’s taken the whole pot population by storm when it was first deduced. It has intense and quite sharp fruity taste with a hint of citrus flavour too. The aftertaste is quite earthy that is a mixture of black pepper, incense, and musk!
The level of THC is more than 22%; this can get some of the most experienced pot smokers to have a psychedelic experience.
Haze Feminized seeds, very popular almost legendary with good Sativa properties and a promise to almost reach heaven.
Haze is a perfect mixture of all sorts of good strain seeds like Thai, Mexican and Colombian what makes Haze very wanted for all sorts of medical problems or just to make you feel good and relaxing.
Haze feminized is a pure Sativa kind that can grow out to be a very tall but bushy plant, her leaves are long and narrow shaped.
When the buds start to develop she’ll spread around a light sweet scent that intensifies when the buds are touched.
The dense relatively small buds are covered with shiny crystals and beautiful orange hairs.
Because she is a pure Sativa the effect you get from consuming her is high but without wearing you out, a very energetic though relaxing feeling will come over you and lingers on for a couple of hours, excellent for a night without any plans.
Enjoy the Haze Flavour
So after 4 months of growing, 2 weeks of drying and curing and your finally ready to smoke the Amnesia Haze that has taken you so long to grow. After your 1st joint or bong we are certain you will be more than satisfied with the smoke after waiting such a long time. Our Amnesia Haze really is one of the best cannabis strains in our entire stock.
Amnesia Haze is one of our best yielding cannabis strains, producing 70-80 g per plant with up to 650+- g per metre squared under a 600w light. She can produce big outside, with full sun, reaching as much as 700g per plant. However extra care should be taken outdoors as this is a sensitive plant, so problems with weather, bugs or irrigation will harm your final harvest.
After the haze genetics came to Holland and several hybrids were made, an American expat would later combine one of these hybrids with a male derived from old school haze seeds creating the Amnesia Haze. We felt our collection of marijuana seeds would not be complete without one of the best hazes to ever be smoked, so we got a hold of some Amnesia and made feminised seeds.
Growing Amnesia Haze
Our Amnesia Haze is a well maintained plant growing just over a metre tall, to about 120cm. She can be grown outdoors but will require hot weather like Australia, North Africa and California, however may need to be grown in a greenhouse due to her long flower period.
Amnesia Haze, otherwise known as “ami weed” or “ammo weed”, exerts an almost psychedelic high that blasts the mind into the stratosphere. The flavour is fresh and fruity like you expect from a haze which only makes the smoke so much more enjoyable. Smokers are warned this is a strong smoke and, as the name suggests, users can often turn their brains off completely after a session.
