With a wide variety of products at affordable prices, FAB CBD almost seems too good to be true. We put them to the test in this review. Fab CBD is a solid CBD brand, especially if you’re looking for CBD oil with tasty flavors and multiple strengths. Here’s what you need to know.

FAB CBD Review

If you’re looking for an honest, simple CBD company, FAB CBD is the one to trust. FAB CBD prides themselves on the ease and accessibility of their products, as well as their wide range of different products for different complications–even dog treats for your pup!

Their CBD oils are crafted in a variety of different flavors and strengths to give you exactly what you need. When it comes to their prices, FAB CBD is one of the more affordable brands out there. Each of their products is available at different prices depending on their strength levels, with even the most potent being reasonably priced.

All of the information about FAB CBD’s products is readily available on the website, including third-party lab test results and ingredients. Quality, transparency, and affordability, they seem to have it all.

With a wide variety of products at affordable prices, this CBD company almost seems too good to be true. But, for the most part, FAB CBD is as quality as they portray. Though the look of their products has a simplistic design, the potency is completely unmatched, paired with delicious flavors along the way.

Fab CBD offers a decent range of products including CBD oil, CBG oil, softgels, gummies, topicals, and dog treats. All products are independently tested for potency and purity and sourced from organic hemp cultivated in sunny Colorado.

Bottom line: An all-around solid brand, Fab CBD stands out most for its CBD oil and multi-cannabinoid softgels.

Pros

  • Good product variety
  • Comprehensive third-party testing
  • 4 CBD oil strengths and 5 flavors
  • Multi-cannabinoid softgels
  • Donates to charity

Overall Rating: 4.3/5

Product Lineup 4.5/5

Fab has a decent range of CBD products. But the product labels and descriptions need to offer more details.

Price & Value 4/5

The two topical products are cheap, the high potency CBD and CBG oils are reasonably priced, and the rest is averagely priced. All in all, pretty good value.

Hemp Quality 4/5

Fab uses organically grown Colorado hemp but it’s not USDA certified.

Third-Party Testing 4.5/5

Fab CBD works with a reputable lab to test for contaminants and cannabinoid and terpene potency. The tests show good results, although some products are low in minor cannabinoids.

Customer Service & Reputation 4.5/5

Fab CBD has responsive customer service, contributes to charities, and has over 2,000 positive customer reviews. But it’s not quite as established as top-tier CBD brands.

CBD Terminology

  • Terpenes: aromatic plant compounds with a wide variety of beneficial properties (1).
  • Minor cannabinoids: CBN, CBG, and other beneficial cannabinoids found in smaller amounts than CBD. For hemp, THC also counts as a minor cannabinoid.
  • Hemp: non-intoxicating cannabis variety with high CBD and low THC levels (less than 0.3%).
  • Full-spectrum: whole-plant hemp extract containing multiple cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. This form of CBD is about 4 times more potent than pure CBD (2).
  • Broad-spectrum: whole-plant hemp extract similar to full-spectrum CBD, but with THC removed (may contain trace amounts).
  • CBD isolate: pure CBD with all other hemp compounds removed.

We’re also fans of the added, research-backed sleep ingredients melatonin, l-theanine, GABA, 5-HTP, and ashwagandha to support the effects of CBD.

But the price is a bit high and we’d also like to see more minor cannabinoids.

CBD Topicals

In terms of topical products, Fab has a skincare CBD cream and salve for pain relief.

We like the high CBD potency the minor cannabinoid levels are a bit low for a full-spectrum product.

Third-Party Test View report

FAB CBD’s dog treats provide 3 mg of each with apple or peanut butter flavor, and are free of wheat, soy, corn, and dairy. They also contain other calming ingredients like passionflower and chamomile.

Both flavors are gluten-free, vegan, keto-friendly, dairy-free, soy-free, and non-GMO, and have an exhaustive ingredients list including flaxseed, beets, raspberries, cranberries, strawberries, wheatgrass, alfalfa, kale, turmeric, and ginger root to name a few.

Price & Value

The easiest way to compare the value of CBD products is to divide the total cost by the amount of CBD. For example, if you have a 1500 mg CBD oil that costs $100, its price per milligram (mg) of CBD would be 100/1500 = $0.07.

You also have to consider that the prices vary by product type.

Here’s the breakdown of Fab CBD’s prices:

  • CBD oil: $0.05- $0.13 per mg
  • Capsules: $0.09 per mg
  • Gummies: $0.07-$0.11 per mg
  • Topicals: $0.05-$0.08 per mg

Most of these prices are slightly cheaper than average, although the topical products are relatively inexpensive. Overall, you’re getting above-average value from Fab.

Hemp Source and Production Process

Fab CBD uses organically grown hemp sourced from Colorado. Regarding the extraction process, it does use supercritical CO2 extraction, which is one of the most common and effective methods of CBD extraction.

But it would be nice to get a little more information.

Third-Party Testing

Fab CBD orders independent third-party laboratory testing from Massachusetts’ ProVerde Labs, one of the most reputable cannabis testing labs in the country.

It checks for contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, yeast, mold, and cannabinoid and terpene levels. The lab results can be found under each product description or on the Fab CBD website under the Lab Reports tab.

Third-Party Test Results

We always look at third-party lab test results to confirm that CBD companies sell safe and accurate products. We check:

  • The levels of CBD, which should be within 10% of the label (3)
  • The levels of minor cannabinoids like CBG and CBC
  • The levels of THC
  • Whether the CBD type (full, broad-spectrum, or isolate) is accurate
  • Whether there are any contaminants

We added three third-party test reports for Fab’s CBD oil, cream, and nighttime gummies above. Here’s what we found:

  • The 1200 mg CBD oil contained 1341 mg of CBD, which is 11.8% more. The tests also showed significant levels of many terpenes, which is a good sign.
  • The 600 mg CBD cream contained about 697.41 mg, which is 16.2% higher.
  • The 12.5 mg CBD nighttime gummies contained 11.9 mg, which is about 4% less. However, the tests show only a small amount of one non-CBD cannabinoid, which is a weak result for a broad-spectrum product.

Overall, these results are pretty good and we like that the tests are up-to-date and include terpene potency. But there is room for improvement.

Shipping & Returns

As far as we can tell, Fab CBD ships to the United States and internationally but it wasn’t clear if it was worldwide to every country. Shipping costs are determined by the weight and price of your total checkout, with standard shipping taking an estimated 5-7 business days.

There is a 30-day money-back guarantee but return shipping costs are not refundable. They will pay for return shipping if the reason is a mistake of Fab CBD (eg. receiving an incorrect or broken item), and no returns can be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Customer Service & Reputation

Fab CBD is a customer service-focused company and has a live help chat box and easy-to-find links to email or contact someone.

We also know this particular company is involved with several charities including Make a Wish Foundation, One Tree Planted, and Charlie Rocket’s Dream Machine.

As per online reviews — Fab CBD has a five-star rating with over 2,000 reviews on its website and a handful of positive reviews on the independent review site Trustpilot.

All in all, Fab looks like a solid brand, even if it’s not quite as established as top-tier CBD companies.

Our Verdict: Solid Brand With Some Room to Improve

There’s a lot to like about Fab CBD. It works with a highly reputable third-party lab and has a straightforward product line.

We’re also fans of its multi-cannabinoid capsules and full-spectrum CBD oils plus the fact that it contributes to charitable causes.

But there is room to improve. Some products contain low amounts of minor cannabinoids and we’d like to see more detailed product labels and descriptions. For example, the dog treats don’t list the total amount of CBD in the whole bag and the cream doesn’t list the container volume.
